Tioga Downs Casino Additions and Renovations (Tioga, NY)

The first round of addition and renovation for Tioga consisted of renovating and adding a Poker room and new restaurant, Virgil’s.  Melinda built a model of the existing conditions for drawings to use as a base, then modeled the new addition for coordination.  The new design consisted of a wooden hung ceiling in the restaurant that need to be coordinated with as well as several technologies that needed to be hung from steel.  Coordination took place and the ceiling system was modeled to coordinate with, involving Allegheny Millwork to aid in the coordination details.  The kitchen equipment was all coordinated and installed.  The second phase of the project was a new hotel and amenities building addition.  Melinda modeled the new buildings to coordinate with.  She was then asked about marketing the new rooms and amenities space with renderings and 360 degree panos where the client took to them to a trade show to sell the spaces before the building was even erected. She then completed coordination management with all trades for each floor of the building as well as used the model to assist in design material selection.  (LPCiminelli)

Rocky Gap Casino Restaurant (Rocky Gap, MD)

The Rocky Gap Casino restaurant and bar renovation consisted of interior design, renderings, and 3D walkthroughs to assist in the client selection of materials.  The turn around was quick, so working to select items that were available and fit the décor was a challenge.  Rexis also assisted in renovations in the new sports book area and upgrading the hallways in the hotel.

Hard Rock Casino Events Center (Sacramento, CA)

Rexis Technology partnered with Moorefield Construction to provide Hard Rock Sacramento, CA casino coordination and plumbing modeling for their new 65,000 sqft events center.  Weekly meetings were held via webex for the architect, engineer, steel subcontractor as well as MEP subcontractors to resolve conflicts with rigging for the stage, clearances for staging equipment and seating, beverage lines, and regular MEP clash detection.  (Moorefield Construction)
